Local gossip says that Medellin has more plastic surgeons per capita than anywhere else in the world. Reportedly “tight” with the cartels at one time, they not only changed the facial structures of the bosses, they also specialized in breast enhancement for their female partners.

In Cartagena, for example, John reports that there is a noticeable number of women sporting “boob jobs” – even a few manequins! Local TV personalities appear to be “well endowed” and low-cut dresses are the norm in the news department, not business suits.

According to some, women come to Medellin from around the world for a little or a lot of intervention.

Not many reports about male clients, though.
